Brand-Forge.com: The future of personal hosting

by jonathan on June 8, 2008

We are now hosting Combat Consulting on a new service called Brand-Forge.com .

I had such a good experience with them on my personal weblog that I also rehoused Combat Consulting with them too.

You have probably noticed the site is faster and generally more available.

The Brand-Forge offer is not just hosting as we traditionally know it. Sure they offer a pretty amazing hosting service, but they also have a team of web professionals available for ultra-low rates to tackle whatever I need.

Brand-Forge have technical experts, web designers, programmers,  Search Engine Optimization specialists and other experts all available at a low hourly rate to tackle bespoke projects, customizations and modifications to their customers’ sites. It is like a technical version of Get Friday . Just mail them with your requirement, they mail you back within a few hours with a price (and time-scales) and if you approve the work, they deliver the work on time and at a very high standard.

For example they migrated this site from the old host to their system in under an hour, with full testing and a back-up made available to me for download.

I am really into these guys right now, especially since I am fresh from reading Tim Ferriss’ “The 4-hour work Week” where he makes such a powerful argument for outsourcing precisely this sort of work to inexpensive experts made available thanks to the flattening of the global economy.

If you want a Grid Based massively scalable high availability website and a team of pros ready to turn it into a masterpiece of design and functionality at a fraction of the cost  you would expect, then try them out.

I have been consistently impressed by their tone, professionalism and responsiveness. Brand-Forge is clearly a labour of love for some real web professionals and I think you will be just as impressed as me if you try them out.

Put it this way, I have even allowed a banner to them for free, THAT is how much I like them.
